Naming

• Laps4Haiti is pronounced Laps for Haiti
• Laps4Haiti is only spelled “Laps4Haiti” and not “Laps for Haiti”

Key information about Laps4Haiti

Laps4Haiti was launched in February of 2011 by the Concordia High School marketing class. The class has a goal of creating an event that will raise awareness and funds for the Gift of God Orphanage in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. It is home to 51 children and 11 staff, all whom survived the earthquake that hit their city on January 12.
Laps4Haiti will be held on April 17th, 2011 at the Concordia Jr./Sr. High School Football Field.
